How to Submit a Story or Photo -

STORY SUBMISSIONS  Do you have an interesting story to share?
We welcome story submissions via email or Canada Post. Short, concise stories are given consideration over long stories. We ask that you limit photos to 10 - 14 per story.
Please read below for formatting.
Stories that are not formatted properly may not be used or returned.

Send files in the following
— Text - WORD document attachment file.
— Pictures - JPEG file attachments.
— Captions - WORD file attachments, number captions to picture. Can be sent as a separate file attachment or tagged on to the end of the story.

Please send a cover email indicating what you are sending, (story, the number of pictures, etc)

                                               Your full name, address and subscription #.

 – Do not write captions on BACK of hard copy photos.

 SEND ALL MATERIAL TOGETHER - Photos and Text MUST BE sent at the same time.

• Picture Perfect - Picture Perfects are the colour photos that on are the front pages of Old Autos. It's a great way for subscribers to showcase their Old Autos.   Please allow up to 6 months for publication.

Submission for Picture Perfect
– you must be a current subscriber and the vehicle cannot be for sale.

– Send us a good quality photo, either hard copy or emailed. If emailing - send in a jpeg format.

– Nice background, NO PEOPLE in photos.

– A short write-up (40-60) words about the vehicle.

– The Year, Make and Model.

– Your full name and address and subscriber # (if you know it)

FORWARD ALL FILES TOGETHER AT ONCE. Missing information will result in a delay of processing.

• OLD PHOTO CORNER –  Do you have a unique old photo that you would like to share with us? You can email them to info@oldautos.ca  or send them by Canada Post. All hard copy pictures will be returned. Be sure to include a caption telling what the picture is about, along with your name and address.

• PRECIOUS ONES – Send us your Precious Ones picture and win a one year subscription if your photo is used. Tell us who is in the picture. You must be a current subscriber and subscriptions are not transferable. Photos must be current. We  have a very large supply, so it may be a while before they are published. Include your full name and mailing address.

• READERS PICS – send us a good photo and short write up about your car. Two or three times a year we publish full page features using Readers Pics.
